The Surfrider Malibu Hotel is a modern spin on a timeless classic. Embracing Malibu’s historic and iconic surf culture, the property is the latest boutique hotel in the heart of Malibu, with panoramic views of the Malibu Pier and legendary surf spot, First Point Malibu.
Creative director and co-owner Emma Crowther Goodwin has infused her Australian-design touch throughout the space working with one of my favorite LA-based furniture designers, Croft House. The light, airy bedrooms are beautifully laid out featuring more of my favorite brands with linens from Parachute Home, toiletries from Grown Alchemist and handmade ceramics by EMK from Venice Beach.
Clean, elegant and minimal, The Surfrider feels like a coastal day dream. A gentle escape nestled along one of the most picturesque coastlines in the world. With custom surfboards by local shapers, a sleek rooftop deck and bar, and library & lounge area, the Surfrider feels more like a “beach house with friends” than a hotel. A place where you can unwind, relax and let go. If a hotel was my spirt animal, the Surfrider Malibu would definitely be mine.
