I’m constantly exploring new places and discovering new things as a travel and lifestyle photographer. I love to capture and share these experiences on my Instagram, website and blog. When Squarespace asked if I’d be interested in being a part of their #BuilditBeauitful campaign I jumped at the opportunity. I’ve tried tons of blog/website services in the past, but my experience with Squarespace easily tops the list. Here’s why Squarespace is killin’ it:
1. All about that aesthetics
I see the world in pictures. So when it comes to things like coding or building a website, I’m like a fish out of water. Luckily, Squarespace offers a variety of aesthetically beautiful templates that you can easily customize. The end result? A clean, modern website that not only stands out, but also leaves a great first impression. My inner minimalist was immediately drawn to the Ishimoto template, which I used to build this very site. Plus, all Squarespace sites are mobile-friendly, which is practically a necessity in today’s day and age. Basically, their websites always look great no matter what device or browser you’re using.
2. If my Grandma can do it, so can you
I consider myself to be technically savvy, in like a “I can google this and figure it out” sense. But when designing the site and blogging with Squarespace, I rarely run into a problem I can’t solve on my own. They really do put the user first. Their platform is incredibly easy-to-use and if you do have a question, their support forum and team are top notch. DISCLAIMER: My Grandma does not use Squarespace, but I bet she could.
3. Everything you need, and then some
Aside from providing me with a beautiful platform to showcase my portfolio, Squarespace offers simple solutions for ALL my website needs. From blogging, to SEO and e-commerce, they help me get it done. They even offer easy-to-understand analytics so you can track how your site is doing and where the referral love is coming from.
In a nutshell: When I take beautiful photos, I want to share them in a beautiful way. Squarespace helps me do just that. All that, and a bag of chips. Cape Cod chips. Mmm… my favorite. ‘Till next time.
