Zürich, Switzerland Travel Guide: Where to Eat

The Swiss have mastered more than just chocolate for our tastebuds. From traditional cheese fondue and wienerschnitzel to modern vegan cuisine, there's something for everyone to enjoy in Zürich. Here's a look at a few of my favorite places to dine out from my last visit.

If you find yourself with a stopover in Frankfurt, Germany (like I did before heading to Zürich), I highly recommend dinner at Stanley Diamond, La Buvette. The food and ambiance were incredible.

Frau Gerolds Garten in Zürich's trendy industrial district is the perfect place to enjoy a beer with friends. The area is also home to great boutique shops and art. I was lucky enough to witness the Swiss vs. Poland Euro Cup match here too!

The Hiltl Restaurant is the oldest vegan restaurant in the world dating back to 1898 and serves up some incredible dishes like this tartar served with aubergines, organic egg, capers, and okra.

If you're looking for a traditional Swiss dining experience head to the Swiss Chuchi Hotel Adler in the heart of the Old Town. Adler's traditional recipes - "Adler House Fondue", Raclette and Waadtländer fondue cheese are some must try's.

Lovely lake views and luxury glamping are always major perks in my book. The Fischer's Fritz restaurant and campsite offer up both. Once you're done with the bottle of rosé and a freshly prepared meal your cozy safari tent is just a short walk away. Who doesn't love a meal that comes with a bed?
