Tulum Photo Journal

If you haven't been to Tulum yet, you have to go! I recently spent a few nights there celebrating one of my best friend's bachelorette parties and had the most amazing time. We stayed at the most charming hotel on the water called Viento de Mar. It's walking distance to so many cute restaurants and shops. And the beach front villas, fresh caught seafood and ice cold margaritas are to die for.

Below are a few of my favorite photos from our trip and places to go during your visit:

  • Kin Toh at Azulik (Dreamy jungle tree house restaurant + bar with hammocks and swings everywhere!)
  • Posada Margherita (A beautiful boutique hotel serving up delicious Italian seafood dishes)
  • Hartwood (Expect to wait in line, but for a completely good reason. This place is a Tulum must.)
  • Coco Tulum (If you're in Tulum on a Sunday, these guys throw a great day party right on the beach.)
  • Papaya Playa (Another fun club right on the beach, where you can dance in the sand under palm trees all night)
  • Cenotes (Limestone swim holes with fresh spring water and snorkeling. There are quite a few in the area and we went to the Grand Cenote, which was great!)
  • Mayan Ruins (Built in the 13th century, Tulum is home to a walled Mayan archaeological site at Tulum National Park overlooking the sea. Bring your swim suit and you can can take a dip on the beach looking up at the ruins!)
