Nestled in the cliffs of Southern Bali lies a charming, beautifully designed property called the Ungasan Clifftop Resort and Villas. With sprawling views of the crystal blue waters and coastline below, Ungasan makes it hard for you to ever want to leave.
As if the views from atop the cliff weren't enough, just wait till you take the inclinator (basically a ski lift for the beach, minus the skis) down to the coast. The soft white sands, crystal blue waters, and lush green jungle cliffs below are breathtaking. Ungasan is also home to the legendary beach bar, Sundays Beach Club. You have to spend an afternoon (and catch a colorful sunset!) lounging on one of their beanbag chairs, sipping ice cold Bingtang beer, and eating fresh seafood with your toes in the sand.
The beach at Ungasan is one of the more private beaches in Bali because if you aren't staying at Ungasan or the Karma Kandara next door, you have to pay 300 Rupiah just to take the inclinator down to the coast.
Each villa in Ungasan comes with it's own private plunge pool and butler. Our villa also had a larger community pool, in addition to the main pool by the lobby. If you like options when it comes to swimming, Ungasan won't disappoint.
As far as the food goes, Ungasan offers a big selection of fresh and local dishes. You can dine-in one of their restaurants, or you can have a more intimate, in-villa dining experience with your own private chef. I definitely recommend doing this one night!
Modern luxury, minimalist design, and breathtaking views await you at the Ungasan Clifftop Resort and Spa. It's home to one of the best beaches in Bali (in my opinion) and comes with all the amenities you need to get swept away in one of those sweet dreams you just don't want to wake up from.
